This is the first review and user guide that I will be putting out about the various traffic exchanges that I use. Please use the navigation buttons at the top to get to the areas that you are interested in.
Overview
EasyHits4U is first on my list because it is the biggest traffic exchange with 2+ million members and is also one of the oldest, starting back in 2003. They have delivered over 4.6 Billion website visits since inception. It also happens to be one that I’ve been a member of for 7 years.
The interface is extremely user-friendly and very easy to navigate throughout the site, however, there are two areas that are a little tricky to get to, more on that in a bit.
Signing Up
Registering is straightforward and can be done with your Google account.
Immediately after signing up for your free account, you can add your links, banners, and text ads as well as upgrade to premium or ultimate if you choose. They have a website checker to check your links when you submit them and they will be active as long as they don't violate the terms of service. The check takes 15 seconds and then you can start driving traffic to them. Text and banner ads usually take 12 - 24 hours to be active because they have to be approved by the admin.
Getting Started
Surfing
One of the things that I like and I think really sets them apart, is that there are multiple ways to earn credits. First, you can surf for credits, 1:1 or 2:1. You have to have an active link to surf and the credits you earn varies depending on how long the timer is. The default timer for a free member at 1:1 is 20 seconds and at 2:1 is 15 seconds.
However, if you go into your Settings, which you can access by clicking on your profile pic in the upper right-hand corner, you can turn on 30 and 40-second timers for your surfing sessions. By doing this, you can earn 1.5 and 2 credits instead of the default 1 credit for 20 seconds. You can also adjust your auto-assign percentage from the same tab, 30% - 100%.
Another feature that makes them stand out, is when you add your sites you are able to geo-target and have unique views over a 24-hour period. It is important to note that geo-targeting may cost more credits.
Once you start surfing, you will receive prizes for every 25 pages you surf. The surf page is similar to any other traffic exchange with a progress bar-style timer and a matching icon captcha. You just click on one of the matching icons and then the next site will load.
If you want to get prizes faster, surfing at 2:1 is ideal, and if you want to build up your credits faster, 1:1 with 30 and 40-second timers is the only way to go. The prizes are banner/text ad impressions, credits, and various gems you collect throughout the week to get a weekly bonus which is usually around 350 credits. You can also win surf drawing tickets, and if you win a drawing, you will get $1, 500 credits, or 5000 banner or text ad impressions.

Offers
The other way to earn credits is by completing offers. The offers link is at the top of the left-hand sidebar and is unique to EasyHits4U.
They vary from website and banner clicks to YouTube views. A few years ago, you were able to give and get likes, subscribers, and comments on YouTube videos and retweet tweets on Twitter. I'm not sure if those features will come back, but they were nice and really set the platform apart. The rewards could be cash, credits or text/banner ad impressions and it can be a way to build up your credits very quickly.
This is powerful because let's say you start a YouTube Shorts channel with an average video length of 10 seconds. You can post an offer for views and because the timer is 35 seconds that means each viewer will view your video 3.5 times which is a 350% retention rate! With your videos getting such a high retention rate, YouTube will start pushing your videos out to more people.
Using Your Hard Earned Credits
Converting Credits
Like other exchanges, you can use your credits for site views, banner/text ad impressions and submit your links on the offers page to get a guaranteed amount of views. An IMPORTANT note: Make sure you move all your banner/text ad impressions off of the banner/text ad BEFORE you add your banner or text ad to the offers page. If you don't, each offer view will also cost you impressions. Basically, you will get charged twice for the view; the credits you reward the viewer AND the impressions.
You also have the ability to convert cash to anything including upgrades, credits into banner/text impressions, and banner impressions into text impressions. You can not however convert text impressions into credits or banner impressions; banner impressions into credits; or convert credits into cash.
If you have a site that has a bunch of credits on it and want to convert those credits into banner impressions, just select the site and delete it. The credits will then return to your bank.
Conversions - Click Thru Rate(CTR)
As you may already know, if you've read The Traffic Exchange Game Post, CTR's are pretty low on traffic exchanges and conversions are even lower. This screenshot is actually from one of my higher CTR banners.
Rotators
EasyHits4U offers some great tools like rotators and a splash page builder. As a free member, you can have one rotator that holds 10 links with easy-to-use toggles to turn them off or on. You can also select the weight of each site.
You can view stats individually or for the rotator as a whole.
Splash Pages
Building splash pages on EasyHits4U is pretty easy with 10 templates free members can choose from. If you have some HTML experience or are willing to figure it out as you go, you can use the editor to make custom pages. You don't have full customization but you can make some decent-looking pages. As a free member, you can have 3 splash pages. Here is a custom page I made. I don't think I will go into how to build a splash page in this post but I may write a dedicated post on it later. Social Networking
Another aspect of EasyHits4U that I really like is how easy it is to connect with other members and you can send a message to anyone. Most of the time users abuse this tool by spamming out their affiliate links to the other members. However, it can be a beneficial and powerful way to build relationships by asking questions or for help; OR for giving/getting useful advice. Not spamming the other members.
If you go into your "Messages" and click on "Settings", you can set up a welcome email to send to your new referrals.
Articles & Link Directory
The last features on my list for EasyHits4U are their articles and link directory sections. These 2 areas are a little tricky to navigate to, not sure why. They used to have them listed on the member's home page on the left-hand sidebar.
Whether you write articles or not, it would be worth your time to read some of them. There are some hidden gems in this section, as well as some not-so-good ones. You can view articles here.
In order to navigate to the articles section from your home page, you click on the "Help" tab and scroll down to "What can you do on EasyHits4U?". There will be a link to the "Articles" and "Link Directory" sections.
Referrals
You get $0.10 for every new referral that surfs 100 pages and up to 30% on their credits earned. How much you get depends on how active you and your referrals are. You can use your cash to convert into credits etc. OR you can use it for upgrades.
You can also request a "cash-out" once you get the $5 minimum by going to the "Statistics" tab on your home page. Scroll down to the "Money" section and click the "cash-out" link.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I have been very satisfied with my experience and have driven a lot of traffic to my PTP links. I think the site offers a lot of features for the free member and you have the ability to earn some cash, free advertising, and make valuable connections.
